Hannah James joins the LUMIERE Team

We are very happy to announce that Hannah James (@ToothDetective) will be joining the LUMIERE Team on 1st of June 2021.

Hannah did a MSc and a PhD in Archaeological Science at the Australian National University under the supervision of Rainer Grun and Ian S. Williams. Her PhD research focused on the oxygen and strontium isotope analyses  of human and animal teeth using in situ methods. She was also involved in the creation of the Biologically available strontium map of France. 

Her knowledge and expertise will be crucial for the development of new methods for the isotopic study of both unburnt and burnt human remains as well as the creation of a biologically available strontium map of Europe.
